Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1263903 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the return spring from the mount brace.

    3. Object Number: 1263924 Size: SH
  3. Remove the nut, the washer, and the pedal mounting shaft.

    4. Object Number: 1263925 Size: SH
  4. Remove the locking washer and the piston rod bolt.
  5. Remove the clutch pedal with the return spring from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1263925 Size: SH
  1. Install the clutch pedal with the return spring to the vehicle

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the locking washer and piston rod bolt.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the piston rod bolt to 18 N·m (13 lb ft).

  3. Install the nut, washer, and pedal mounting shaft.

    4. Object Number: 1263903 Size: SH
  4. Connect the return spring to the mount brace.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
