Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1263999 Size: SH
  1. Siphon the power steering fluid from the fluid reservoir.
  2. Remove the power steering fluid supply hose bracket bolts from the radiator.

    3. Object Number: 1264001 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the pressure line hose from the inlet connection on the power steering pump and supply hose from the outlet connection on the power steering fluid reservoir.
  4. Remove the power steering fluid supply hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1264001 Size: SH
  1. Install the power steering fluid supply hose to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the pressure line hose to the inlet connection on the power steering pump.
  3. Connect the outlet connection onto the power steering fluid reservoir.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1263999 Size: SH
  4. Install the power steering fluid supply hose bracket bolts to the radiator.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 8 N·m (6 lb ft).

  5. Fill the reservoir with power steering fluid to the MAX level.
  6. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
