Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1265533 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the upper and the lower steering column cover screws.
  3. Remove the upper and the lower steering column cover.

    4. Object Number: 1265534 Size: SH
  4. Remove the turn signal switch and the wiper switch by pushing in on the tabs on the top and the bottom of the switch housing.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the turn signal switch and the wiper switch.
  6. Remove the turn signal switch and the wiper switch.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1265534 Size: SH
  1. Install the turn signal switch and wiper switch.
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the turn signal switch and wiper switch.
  3. Install the turn signal switch and wiper switch into the switch housing.

    4. Object Number: 1265533 Size: SH
  4. Install the upper and lower steering column cover.
  5. Install the upper and lower steering column cover screws.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
