Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1279795 Size: SH
  1. Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Lift the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Slide the heater hose clamps rearward at the cowl.
  4. Gently twist the hose from the left to right and back again to loosen the bond between the hose and the tube.
  5. Remove the end of the hose from the tube.

  6. Remove the clamp and slide rearward the inlet heater hose at the engine block.
  7. Remove the inlet heater hose from the vehicle.

    8. Object Number: 1279821 Size: SH
  8. Remove the clamp and slide the outlet heater hose rearward.
  9. Remove the outlet heater hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1279821 Size: SH
  1. Install the outlet heater hose to the vehicle.
  2. Install the hose clamp.

    3. Object Number: 1279800 Size: SH
  3. Install the inlet heater hose to the vehicle.
  4. Install the hose clamp.

    5. Object Number: 1279795 Size: SH
  5. Install the hose to the heater core.
  6. Install the hose clamps.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
