  1. Inspect for a short circuit and repair if necessary.
  2. Replace the open fuses.

  1. Turn ON the ignition.
  2. Use a voltmeter to measure battery voltage available at fuses F3 and F16.

Does the voltage measure near the specified?

11-14 V

Repair the open power supply circuit for the fuse.

Use a voltmeter to measure the battery voltage available at the clock connector terminal 1.

Does the voltage measure near the specified?

11-14 V

Go to Step 7

Repair the open circuit between the clock connector terminal 1 and the fuse F3.

Turn ON the ignition.

Is battery voltage available at the clock connector terminal 5?

Repair the open circuit between the clock connector terminal 5 and the fuse F16.

Measure continuity between the clock connector terminal 2 and ground.

Does the resister indicate specified value?

0 ohms
