Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1280496 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the headlamp mounting bolts and nuts.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

    4. Object Number: 1280497 Size: SH
  4. Remove the screw.
  5. Disconnect the headlamp and the spacer.

    6. Object Number: 1280498 Size: SH
  6. remove the cap concealing the headlamp bulb.
  7. Remove the headlamp assembly.
  8. Remove the turn signal bulb.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1280498 Size: SH
  1. Install the turn signal bulb.
  2. Install the headlamp assembly.
  3. Install the cap concealing the headlamp bulb.

    4. Object Number: 1280497 Size: SH
  4. Connect the headlamp and spacer.
  5. Install the screw.

    6. Object Number: 1280496 Size: SH
  6. Connect the electrical connector.

    7. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  7. Install the headlamp mounting bolts and nuts.

    8. Tighten
    Tighten the mounting bolts and nuts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  8. Connect the negative battery cable.
