DT 46484 (DW260-160) Brake C/D Snap Ring Remover/Installer

Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

1. Remove the snap ring from the transaxle housing.



2. Release the cylinder with piston C by applying compressed air to the feed bore.



3. Remove the cylinder from piston C.



4. Remove disc carrier C/D and the spring disc from the transaxle housing.



5. Release the cylinder with piston D by applying compressed air to the feed bore.



6. Remove the cylinder with piston C.



7. Separate piston C from cylinder C.



8. Remove the snap ring from brake C.



9. Remove the disc set C.



10. Rotate the disc carrier C/D one-half turn.
11. Using the DT 46484  (1) , press down on the cup spring. Remove the snap ring.



12. Remove the disc set D.
