Tools Required

Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses Caution in the Preface section.

Important: Before assembling clutch B/E, measure the setting disks in clutch B/E with the Clutch B/E Measurement Procedure.

1. Install the cup spring.



2. Use the DT 46482  (1) to press down on the cup spring on clutch B.
3. Install the split stop ring.



4. Install the O-ring on the oil dam.
5. Install the oil dam and the cup spring.



6. Use the DT 46483  (1) to press down on the cup spring on clutch E.
7. Install the split stop ring.



8. Install disc set E.



9. Install the snap ring.



10. Install the inner disc carrier E and the needle roller thrust bearing.



11. Install the rectangular-section ring for the input shaft and the retaining ring. Install the piston rings (1, 2).



12. Install disc set B.



13. Install piston B.



14. Install the retaining snap ring



15. Install the shim.
16. Install the needle bearing and the thrust washer.



17. Install the input shaft with clutch B/E.



18. Install the 2 sealing rings for Clutch B and E
19. Install the rear cover. Refer to Transmission Rear Cover Replacement .
