Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1280299 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the lower center pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the screws and seat belt guide.
  4. Remove the front seat belt upper center pillar anchor bolt.
  5. Remove the upper center pillar trim.
  6. Remove the bolts and seat belt height adjuster.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1280299 Size: SH
  1. Install the bolts and seat belt height adjuster.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 20 N·m (15 lb ft).

  2. Install the upper center pillar trim.
  3. Install the front seat belt upper center pillar anchor bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the upper center pillar anchor bolt to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).

  4. Install the screws and seat belt guide.
  5. Install the lower center pillar trim.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
