Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2008 🢒 Vivant 🢒 Safety and Security 🢒 Seat Belts 🢒 Driver or Passenger Seat Belt Buckle Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the center console, if necessary.

    3. Object Number: 1280295 Size: SH
  3. Remove the plastic caps and 3 screws.
  4. Remove the seat belt buckle cover.
  5. Disconnect the pretensioner connector, if equipped.

    6. Object Number: 1280298 Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the seat belt warning lamp connector, for the driver seat.
  7. Remove the bolt, washer, and buckle.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1280298 Size: SH
  1. Install the bolt, washer, and buckle.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).

  2. Connect the seat belt warning lamp connector, for the driver seat.
  3. Connect the pretensioner connector, if equipped.

    4. Object Number: 1280295 Size: SH
  4. Install the seat belt buckle cover.
  5. Install the plastic caps and 3 screws.
  6. Install the center console, if necessary.
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
