Preliminary Procedure Remove the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
1	Hood Hinge Nuts (Qty: 4) Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section. Tip Disconnect the wiring harness from the hood on both sides. Mark the hood for proper alignment for re-installing. Tighten 25 N·m (18 lb ft)
2	Hood Caution: When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.

Tip
