Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1825525 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) from the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.

    2. Object Number: 1828338 Size: SH
  2. Remove the MAP sensor bolts.
  3. Remove the MAP sensor and O-ring seal from the intake manifold.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1828338 Size: SH
  1. Lubricate the O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the MAP sensor to the intake manifold.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the MAP sensor bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

    4. Object Number: 1825525 Size: SH
  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (2) to the MAP sensor.
