    Note: The inward stop restricts the No.4 bow travel. Check the No. 3 bow for proper tension by pushing downward on it. If it pushes downward easily, adjust the stop outward to keep the No. 4 bow further rearward, and increase tension.

    The outward stop restricts the rear link travel. Only adjust this stop if the joint between the front and rear weatherstrip retainers appears loose on either side. Adjust the stop outside to increase tension on the joint.

  1. Reposition the folding top to allow access to the up-stop bolt (1).
  2. Loosen the up-stop bolt (2) jamb nut.
  3. Close the latch and folding top.
  4. Adjust stop to a positive contact to bow or link.
  5. Reposition the folding top to access the jamb nut.
  6. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  7. Tighten the up-stop jamb nut (2) to 17 N·m (13 lb ft).
