Air Conditioning (AC) Refrigerant Filter Replacement for Daewoo Lacetti (Global Delta) 2009

GE-39400-A Halogen Leak Detector

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools.

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Remove the air conditioning condenser. Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement.



3. Remove the Air Conditioning Receiver and Dehydrator Plug (4).

Note: Cap all A/C components immediately to prevent system contamination.

4. Remove and discard the sealing washers (3).
5. Remove the refrigerant filter from the condenser.

1. Uncap A/C components.
2. Install new sealing washers (3). Refer to Sealing Washer Replacement.



3. Install the refrigerant filter (2) into air conditioning condenser.
4. Install the Air Conditioning Receiver and Dehydrator Plug (4).
5. Install the air conditioning condenser (1). Refer to Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement.
6. Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
7. Leak test the fittings using the GE-39400-A detector .
8. Install the surge tank to the surge tank bracket.
