Preliminary Procedure

Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement .

Steering Wheel Spoke Cover (Qty: 2)

Tip
Use a flat-bladed plastic tool to disengage the 2 detent tabs and carefully pull cover from the 2 retainers.

Steering Wheel Control Switch Screw (Qty: 4)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Steering Wheel Control Switch Assembly (Qty: 2)

Procedure

1. Radio control switch assembly is shown. Cruise control switch assembly is similar.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
