Preliminary Procedure

Remove the wheelhouse liner in order to access the backside of the headlamp capsule. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .

Headlamp Accessory Bulb Cover

Tip
Rotate the cover a quarter turn counterclockwise and remove.

Disconnect the wire clip securing the starter arc tube to the headlamp capsule assembly.

Headlamp Starter/Arc Tube

Caution: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

1. Pull the starter arc tube from the capsule assembly.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the arc tube from the capsule assembly.

Tip
Connect the electrical connector prior to installing the starter arc tube back into the headlamp capsule.
