Condition
Some customers may comment that when the vehicle is shifted into PARK (P), the doors automatically unlock.
Cause
On these vehicles (base trim models SLE & XE), this is the factory default setting and is not selectable. This condition may not satisfy each particular customer's personal preference.
Correction
Important: Be sure to select the correct calibration with the description that reads "(Per customer request only) Auto Door Lock option enable on DIC".
For customers who wish to have the auto door lock option enabled (all door locks will stay locked when shifted to park), a new service calibration is now available. Reprogram the BCM using SPS. Be sure to complete all specific final instructions after programming.
