Some customer may complain about the sun glare from the chrome trim rings around the HVAC outlets.

Engineering is working on a redesigned painted trim ring for the HVAC outlets as a service fix. If the customer can not wait until the fix becomes available, a dealer may paint the chrome trim rings around the HVAC outlets with black paint.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
