Right Lane Change Signal Inoperative - keywords intermittent multifunction switch turn

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some customers may comment that the right lane change signal does not flash three times automatically when the turn signal lever is raised. If the lever is raised further to the turn position the signal will flash as expected. The cause may be internal to the turn signal multifunction switch.

Replace the turn signal multifunction switch.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
