  1. Position a NEW oil filter adapter gasket onto the oil filter adapter.

    2. Object Number: 1838453 Size: SH
  2. Place the oil filter adapter into position.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1838797 Size: SH
  3. Install the oil filter adapter bolts. Ensure the longer bolts (1) is installed in the upper rear position and tighten the oil filter adapter bolts to 23 N·m (17 lb ft).

    4. Object Number: 1838443 Size: SH
  4. Install a NEW oil filter.
