The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
When the remote start feature is used to start the vehicle, the SIR light will flash on the IPC for the complete remote start cycle, or until the ignition key is turned on.
Recommendation/Instructions:
This is the normal operation of the IPC during a Remote start. Do not make any repairs to try to fix this concern.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
