The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
This information applies to Middle East vehicles only.
Some customers may comment that their rear seat entertainment aux jacks do not operate with their PAL configured entertainment devices. Vehicles equipped with a with Navigation radio (UVB) and Rear Seat Entertainment (U42) use a NTSC configured input for the rear auxiliary jacks. The DVD player operates in PAL format.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Do not make any repairs for this concern. The system is functioning as designed.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
