Water Leak Left Right Floor - kw GMT355 roof molding joint left rightpanel seam top seal pillar

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

Customer may comment that water is leaking onto the left or right floor area.

On vehicles built before 2/25/04, the possible source of the water leak may be from an open left or right roof weld seam under the ditch molding at the windshield. Follow water leak diagnosis and repair under General Information, Waterleaks in SI. Refer to PI01914 when replacing the Roof Weld Joint Reveal Molding (ditch molding) on regular cab truck.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance. This diagnostic approach was developed for the vehicle with the VIN you entered and should not be automatically be used for other vehicles with similar symptoms.
