When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.
This is to advise you of a feature change on 2004 Model Year Full Size Pickups, Utilities, Mid Size Utilities and H2 models equipped with full feature memory seats (RPOs AN3 or AAB) and / or remote keyless entry system (RPO AUO). Effective with production around March 9, 2004 and for the balance of the 2004 model year, the radio station pre-set programmable personalization feature that allows Driver 1 and Driver 2 to program pre-set radio stations is being eliminated as feedback indicates customers prefer not to have the radio station revert to a preset station when the personalization is activated. Customers will still be able to preset stations; however, it will now be limited to only one pre-set and not two. An Owners Manual supplement , indicating this product change, has been placed into the glove box of all vehicles at the assembly plant. Owners Manuals, Getting to Know Your Vehicle brochures will be updated as soon as practicable.
