When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

Alarm sounds when unlocking doors with a key.

This is normal operation. The key cylinder switch in the drivers door never went into production. The only way to disarm content theft is to start the vehicle or use the RKE system to unlock the door(s). The service information will be updated to reflect the correct operation.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
