SMU - Revised Park Brake Fastener Tightening Specification

This bulletin is being issued to revise the fastener tightening specifications in the Parking Brakes sub-section of the Service Manual. Please replace the current information in the Service Manual with the following information.

The following information has been updated within SI. If you are using a paper version of this Service Manual, please make a reference to this bulletin on the affected page.

A parking brake fastener tightening specification application has been deleted and replaced with a new application:

Deleted: Bolt - Retainer, Park Brake Cable-to-Leaf Spring -- 20 N·m (15 lb ft)

Replaced with: Nut - Retainer, Park Brake Cable-to-Leaf Spring -- 9 N·m (80 lb in)
