This bulletin is being revised to expand the areas (to include all of Michigan, Ohio and Indiana) in which engineering is attempting to identify a vehicle that exhibits this condition. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 07-08-42-005 (Section 08 -- Body and Accessories).
Some customers may comment that the right headlamp bulb is burnt out.
GM Engineering is attempting to determine the root cause of this condition. GM has a need to obtain information BEFORE any repairs are made.
Important: Due to the need to utilize engineering equipment to collect data from the vehicle, GM Engineering is only interested in vehicles located in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana.
If the vehicle currently exhibits this condition and is available for engineering to inspect, please contact the engineer -- Mick Dowd at 248-685-4572.
