  1. Install a new oil pump pipe gasket.
  2. Install the oil pump pipe and screen assembly.
  3. Add sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) to the oil pump pipe bolt threads.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  4. Install the oil pump pipe and screen assembly bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
