Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 954003 Size: SH
  1. Remove the balance shaft drive chain. Refer to Balance Chain Replacement.
  2. Remove the balance shaft chain guide bolts.
  3. Remove the balance shaft chain guide.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 954003 Size: SH
  1. Install the balance shaft chain guide.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the balance shaft chain guide bolts and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
  3. Install the balance shaft drive chain. Refer to Balance Chain Replacement.
