  1. Install the timing chain tensioner.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the timing chain tensioner bolts. Tighten the timing chain tensioner bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 637585 Size: SH
  3. Install the timing chain tensioner guide.
  4. Install the timing chain tensioner guide bolts. Tighten the timing chain tensioner guide bolts to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

    5. Object Number: 637584 Size: SH
  5. Install the timing chain tensioner shoe.
  6. Install the timing chain tensioner shoe bolt. Tighten the timing chain tension shoe bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

    7. Object Number: 748324 Size: SH
  7. Install the cylinder head access hole plugs. Tighten the cylinder head access hole plugs to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
