For 1990-2009 cars only
- Apply sealant GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent to the heater outlet hose fitting threads.
- Install the heater outlet hose fitting. Tighten the heater outlet hose fitting to 45 N·m (33 lb ft).
