The electronic brake control module (EBCM) monitors the input of the brake pressure sensor for more accurate control during a vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES) event.
Ignition ON.
The EBCM detects an internal pressure sensor are fault or The EBCM detects the 2 internal brake pressure sensor readings do not correlate.
| • | The EBCM disables the antilock brake system (ABS), traction control system (TCS) and vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES) for the duration of the ignition cycle. |
| • | A DIC message and/or a warning indicator may be displayed. |
| • | The condition for setting the DTC is no longer present. |
| • | The EBCM clears the history DTC when a current DTC is not detected in 50 consecutive drive cycles. |
