Seat Belt Replacement - Center Rear Crew Cab

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat shoulder belt guide cover.
  2. Remove the body rear trim panel. Refer to Body Rear Trim Panel Replacement .

  4. Remove the bolt that retains the rear center seat belt assembly to the floor panel.
  5. Remove the rear center seat belt assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the rear center seat belt assembly on the floor panel.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the bolt which retains the rear center seat belt assembly to the floor.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the rear center seat belt bolt to 52.5 N·m (39 lb ft).

  5. Route the rear center seat belt webbing up through the guide loop. Ensure that the seat belt webbing is not twisted.
  6. Install the body rear trim panel. Refer to Body Rear Trim Panel Replacement .

  8. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide cover.
