Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels and Tires.
  3. Remove the engine shield if equipped. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement in Frame and Underbody.
  4. Support the engine using a jack stand and a block of wood.

    5. Object Number: 1201503 Size: SH
  5. Remove the engine mount-to-frame bracket through bolt for the mount being replaced.
  6. Loosen the left side through bolt.
  7. Raise the engine using the jack stand. The engine will tilt to one side.

    8. Object Number: 1201374 Size: SH
  8. Remove the engine mount bolts.
  9. Remove the engine mount. You will need to articulate the mount in order to remove the mount.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the engine mount. You will need to articulate the mount in order to install the mount.

    2. Object Number: 1201374 Size: SH
  2. Install the engine mount bolts.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1273485 Size: SH
  3. To aid in the installation of the bolts, start a bolt in position (1) first.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the engine mount bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  4. Lower the engine.

    5. Object Number: 1201503 Size: SH
  5. Install the engine mount-to-frame bracket through bolt.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten both of the engine mount-to-frame bracket bolts to 85 N·m (63 lb ft).

  6. Remove the jack stand.
  7. Install the engine shield, if equipped. Refer to Engine Protection Shield Replacement in Frame and Underbody.
  8. Install the wheel and tire assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Wheels and Tires.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
