Transmission Extension Assemble Colorado

1. For the 4WD transmission, install the shift control shaft plug.



2. If removed, install the reverse control lever restrictor.



3. Install a new reverse control lever restrictor roll pin.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




4. Install a new reverse restrictor pin plug.

Tighten
Tighten the reverse restrictor pin plug to 19 N·m (14 lb ft).




5. Install the oil receiver.



6. If RWD, install the oil trough.
7. Install the oil trough bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the oil trough bolt to 11 N·m (8 lb ft).

Transmission Extension Assemble Solstice

1. If removed, install the reverse control lever restrictor.



2. Install a new reverse control lever restrictor roll pin.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




3. Install a new reverse restrictor pin plug.

Tighten
Tighten the reverse restrictor pin plug to 19 N·m (14 lb ft).




4. Install the oil receiver.



5. Install the oil trough.
6. Install the oil trough bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the oil trough bolt to 11 N·m (97 lb in).
