This bulletin is being issued to inform dealer technicians that a rubbing/contacting condition between the wheelhouse liner and the ABS wiring harness may exist on certain 2007-2008 Colorado/Canyon trucks.
If a vehicle with such a condition is noticed, technicians are to cut the wheelhouse liner around the harness using a regular pair of scissors or equivalent.
The graphic below shows approximately where to cut the wheelhouse liner (red line) to avoid future rubbing/contacting of the ABS wire harness.
