Removal Procedure
- Remove the electric motor actuator. Refer to Electric Motor Actuator Replacement.
- Remove the left differential carrier assembly bushing and mounting bracket. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Bushing and Bracket Replacement.
- Remove the disconnect housing bolts.
- Remove the disconnect housing.
- Remove the clutch fork, clutch assembly, thrust washer, and gasket from the disconnect housing.
Installation Procedure
- Install the clutch fork, clutch assembly, thrust washer, and gasket in the disconnect housing.
- Install the disconnect housing.
- Install the disconnect housing bolts and tighten to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).
- Install the left differential carrier mounting bracket. Refer to Differential Carrier Assembly Bushing and Bracket Replacement.
- Install the electric motor actuator. Refer to Electric Motor Actuator Replacement.
