Adjustment Procedure
- Lower the endgate window to the full down
position.
- Swing the endgate open.
- Remove the endgate window sealing strip. Refer to
Endgate Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement
.
- Adjust the up/down position of the endgate window by turning the adjustment
screws (1).
• | To lower the top edge of the window, turn the adjustment screws clockwise. |
• | To raise the top edge of the window, turn the adjustment screws counterclockwise. |
• | Each adjustment screw must be adjusted equally, with respect to each other,
within 4 mm (0.6 in). |
• | Each revolution of the adjustment screw moves the top edge of the window
1.25 mm (0.05 in) forward or rearward. |
- Install the endgate window sealing strip. Refer to
Endgate Window Outer Sealing Strip Replacement
.
- Perform endgate window relearn cycle. Refer to
Endgate Window Learn Cycle
.
- Inspect the index position of the endgate glass. A 5 mm (0.20 in)
rod must not be able to pass between the rear header seal and the endgate window.
