Removal Procedure
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the fluid level sensor.
- Using pair of needle nose pliers, compress the locking tabs (1) for the fluid sensor located at the opposite side of the master cylinder.
- Remove the fluid level sensor from the master cylinder reservoir.
Important: When performing the following service procedure, it is NOT necessary to drain the master cylinder reservoir.
Installation Procedure
- Using a pair of needle nose pliers, compress the snap ring (1).
- Install the fluid sensor in the master cylinder.
- Release the snap ring and remove the needle nose pliers.
- Install the electrical connector to the fluid level sensor.
Important: Ensure that the fluid sensor is fully seated before releasing the snap ring.
