2002 VIN S 4.2L LL8 Engines - SES Light due to DTCs P0507 and P1514

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

Some 2002 Models that are equipped with the VIN S 4.2L engine may experience a rough idle, SES Light, reduced engine power and DTCs P0507 and P1514.

While performing the P0507 and P1514 SI diagnostics, inspect the PCV hose that is located between the #3 and #4 intake runners to make sure that it is properly connected. If it becomes disconnected, DTCs P0507 and P1514 will set. If this issue is found, resecure the PCV hose to the intake manifold using the correct size hose clamp.
