Auxiliary Air Distributor Duct Replacement Lower
Removal Procedure
- Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to
Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side
in Interior Trim.
- Remove the lower air duct fastener (4).
- Remove the mid-upper air distribution fastener (6).
- Remove the mid-upper air distribution duct (6).
- Remove the lower air duct (5) from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the mid-upper air distribution duct (6).
- Install the mid-upper air distribution fastener (7).
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Tighten the mid-upper air distribution screw.
Tighten
Tighten the screw to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).
- Install the lower air duct (5) to the vehicle.
Tighten
Tighten the screw to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).
- Install the lower air duct screw (4).
- Install the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to
Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side
in Interior Trim.
Auxiliary Air Distributor Duct Replacement Upper
Removal Procedure
- Remove the right rear quarter trim panel. Refer to
Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side
in Interior Trim.
- Remove the headliner. Refer to
Headlining Trim Panel Replacement
in Interior Trim.
- Remove the mid upper air distribution duct retaining fastener (7).
- Remove the mid upper air distribution duct (6) from the C-pillar.
- Remove the lower air distribution duct (5) from the C-pillar.
Installation Procedure
- Install the lower air distribution duct (5) to the C-pillar.
- Install the lower air distribution duct retaining screw (4).

- Install the upper air distribution duct retaining screw (7).
Tighten
Tighten the screw to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).
- Install the headliner. Refer to

- Install the right rear quarter trim. Refer to
Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement - Right Side
in Interior Trim.
