Removal Procedure
- Remove the tail lamp. Refer to
Tail Lamp Replacement
.
- Remove the 2 tail lamp circuit board retaining screws.
- Simultaneously release the bottom 4 locking tabs and partially remove the tail lamp circuit board.
- Release the top 2 locking tabs and remove the tail lamp circuit board from the tail lamp assembly.
- Remove the bulbs from the tail lamp circuit board.
Installation Procedure
- Install the bulbs to the tail lamp circuit board.
- Position the tail lamp circuit board to the tail lamp.
- Hold the top 2 locking tabs apart while pushing the tail lamp circuit board into place.
- Hold the bottom 4 locking tabs apart while pushing the tail lamp circuit board into place.
- Verify that the circuit board is fully seated with the locking tabs fully seated.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the 2 tail lamp circuit board retaining screws.
Tighten
Tighten the screws to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).
