Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the power window switch. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Switch Replacement .
  2. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the inner window belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  4. Remove the outer window belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  5. Remove the upper sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Upper Sealing Strip Replacement .
  6. Remove the inside release handle. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  7. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  8. Remove the speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  9. Remove the window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  10. Remove the stationary window and run channel assembly. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
  11. Remove the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  12. Remove the door latch assembly. Refer to Rear Side Door Latch Replacement .
  13. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  14. Remove the check link. Refer to Door Check Link Replacement .
  15. Remove the wire harness from the door. Refer to Rear Side Door Wiring Harness Replacement .

    16. Object Number: 723025 Size: SH
  16. Remove the bolts that retain the door to the hinge plates.
  17. Remove the door from the vehicle with an assistant.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 723025 Size: SH
  1. Install the door to the vehicle with an assistant.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Apply Loctite® Blue GM P/N 12345382, or Canadian P/N 10953489, or equivalent to the fastener prior to installation.
  3. Install the bolts that retain the door to the hinge plates.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  4. Install the wire harness to the door. Refer to Rear Side Door Wiring Harness Replacement .
  5. Install the check link. Refer to Door Check Link Replacement .
  6. Install the outside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  7. Install the door latch assembly. Refer to Rear Side Door Latch Replacement .
  8. Install the window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  9. Install the stationary window and run channel assembly. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Replacement .
  10. Install the window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  11. Install the speaker. Refer to Radio Rear Side Door Speaker Replacement in Entertainment.
  12. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  13. Install the inside release handle. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  14. Install the upper sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Upper Sealing Strip Replacement .
  15. Install the outer window belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  16. Install the inner window belt sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  17. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  18. Install the power window switch. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Switch Replacement .
