Preliminary Procedures

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Reposition the lower radiator air baffle in order to access the fog lamp adjuster bolts.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the fog lamp bulb socket.

Front Fog Lamp Adjuster Bolts

Tip
Remove the 2 horizontal adjusting bolts from the fog lamp bracket assembly.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Front Fog Lamp Bracket Retention Clips

Tip
Release the clips in order to remove the housing from the bracket.

Fog Lamp Housing

Tip

    • Upon reassembly, ensure the housing is secure to the retention clips on the fog lamp bracket.
    • Aim the fog lamps after replacement. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming .

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the fog lamp bulb and socket. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Bulb Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 742553  Size: SH
  3. Remove the 3 nuts that retain the fog lamp to the fascia (2).
  4. Remove the fog lamp from the fascia.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 742553  Size: SH
  1. Install the fog lamp to the fascia (2).
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the 3 fog lamp retaining nuts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 10.0 N·m (88 lb in).

  5. Install the fog lamp bulb and socket. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Bulb Replacement .
  6. Aim the fog lamp(s). Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming .
