  1. Close all of the vehicle doors.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

The SECURITY indicator turns OFF.

  1. Roll down the driver's window.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  3. Remove the key from the ignition switch.
  4. Open the driver's door.

The SECURITY indicator starts flashing ON and OFF.

Press the LOCK button on the remote transmitter.

The SECURITY indicator stops flashing and remains ON continuously.

Close all of the doors.

The SECURITY indicator turns OFF after approximately 15 seconds. The system is now armed.

Perform any of the following functions in order to activate an armed theft deterrent system and in order to simulate an illegal entry:

    • Use the power lock switch in order to unlock the driver door or the passenger door.
        Open a door.
    • Use the inside lock lever in order to unlock the driver door or the passenger door.
        Open a door.

The CTD system activates the following actions in order to indicate a vehicle intrusion:

    • The horn sounds.
    • The exterior lights flash ON and OFF.
    •  Diagnostic System Check - Body Control System in Body Control System
    •  Horns System Check in Horns
    •  Exterior Lights System Check in Doors

Use the key in order to unlock the driver door or the passenger door.

The alarm disarms.

Press the UNLOCK button on the remote transmitter.

The alarm disarms.
