Tools Required:

    • J 44226 Crankshaft Balancer Remover
    • J 41816-2 Crankshaft End Protector

    Object Number: 637774 Size: SH
  1. Remove the crankshaft balancer bolt.

    2. Object Number: 654699 Size: SH
  2. Install J 41816-2 into the end of the crankshaft.

    3. Important: Do not pull on outer edge of the crankshaft balancer.

  3. Use J 44226 to remove the crankshaft balancer.

    4. Object Number: 869916 Size: SH
  4. Use a three jaw puller to remove the crankshaft balancer if equipped with the newer style balancer.
  5. Remove J 44226 and J 41816-2 .
