2002 Oldsmobile Bravada

This bulletin is being issued to clarify the torque specifications and the proper tightening sequence for the fasteners utilized to secure the lower control arm bracket to the vehicle frame. Whenever these fasteners are either loosened or removed for any reason, it is essential that these fasteners are tightened to specification following the correct tightening sequence in order to avoid damage to parts, systems and maintain correct front suspension geometry.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener.
