END PLAY CHECKING TOOLS THM 700-R4 A/T

MODELS: LIGHT DUTY TRUCKS WITH THM 700-R4 TRANSMISSIONS

There are two end play checking fixture adaptors available for checking end play on THM 700-R4 transmissions. See Figure No. 1.

J-34725 is used for 298 mm. style turbine shafts, and J-25022 is used for 245 mm. style turbine shafts.

Be certain to use the correct tool and follow the service manual procedure when checking end play.
