TRANSMISSION GEAR RATTLE OR NOISE

MODELS: 1988 C/K TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS (OPTION MG 5)

Some 1988 C/K trucks may experience neutral gear noise/rattle. These vehicles can be repaired by installing a new clutch plate assembly. The new clutch plate has a tuned dampener which will eliminate the gear noise.
