Labels are pressure sensitive; therefore, surfaces must be clean, dry, warm and free of contaminants, before labels are affixed. Labels must be pressed firmly over the entire surface.
Locate labels next to English labels, unless otherwise noted. Both labels should be readable.
1) Dual Battery Labels (Lt. Duty Truck Only)
- Follow same instructions for extra battery (diesel engine) as for single battery (gasoline engine) as outlined in the general instructions in the Product Service Bulletin.
2) Oil Filler Cap Label
- Place label 52355864, 52355865 over one of the original labels on the oil filler cap. (Key on Oil required).
3) Diesel Fuel Filter Labels
- Place label 74944A over English label on the secondary fuel filter.
- Place label 745944B over English label on the primary fuel oil filter.
4) Maximum Voltage Caution
- Place label 52354639 adjacent to English label.
5) Glow Plug Relay Label
- Place label 744665 on Relay Box (LH fender skirt), or on fender skirt near relay box in close proximity to the English label.
6) Starting Fluid Caution Label
- Place label 52351285 on top portion of air cleaner near mouth of snorkel.
7) Diesel Engine Oil Notice Label (CK Truck)
- Place label 52351233 over English label on oil fill tube.
8) Diesel Fuel Filter Notice Label
- Place label 52351856 over English label on the fuel oil filter bracket.
